Some food for thought
Adding your server to a smaller website like mine seems like it wont bring you much players, however you could argue quite the opposite. It is easier to get to the first page in terms of vote count than on the huge sites thus gaining you more clicks. Because let's be real, how many click on the 'next page' button?

Q : I added my server to the list but it does not show?
A : it can take a minute before it gets cached by our servers.
Q: I'm lazy and don't want to make another account
A: use google sign on
Q: Can I get free premium?
A: No however each month quite a lot of spots go out for just 10€
Q: What do you do with all that money from the bidding?
A: I spend a small part on adverting the website on places like here, and the other part goes to google adwords in order to attract more players. (So the higher the bid the higher the traffic)
