The difference in yours is made with a few WE commands and a minute or two of block placements.
To actually add some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, let's start with some actual improvements you could do.
You could hand-terraform a few 2-block ridges in, adding some slight and simple slopes to the back of them. Add in a terrain pillar or two, for people to dance around.

Besides, those I showed are 100x100, they're not THAT huge. Too large for 1v1, sure, but the same idea can still work on smaller scale.

true, however you can still add some serious improvements as I listed above.

I'm not saying it's bad, its just a bit simplistic. At least you don't have the gall to try to sell it like some others.
