Free/Paid Prefix for Design + Graphics

Hello MCM users! So I have been in the graphics business for a year now. During this time as a freelancer, I, and maybe other people realize that it would make life easier to make people requesting an item, to add a prefix which separates free requests (vouch/quote) from paid requests.

If we create a "free" tag for this, we'd need to create a free tag for every product.
Or have graphics be special exceptions, and I hate exceptions. It makes the site less intuitive to use, and organization a mess.
Do free tags represent people offering free products? Or people looking for free products?
I would prefer we remove large tags entirely and instead introduce advanced filtering capabilities similar to ebay, which makes searching for threads relevant to what you're looking for extremely easy. With the filter options built straight into the forum list, and thread creation requiring the input of basic data, such as price and whether it's being offered or requested.
