£75 is way overpriced for a mail server lol
No it's not. VAT is included in that price which is 3 hours @ £25/hour. Someone who isn't some skidadmin is worth more than $5 per year, especially when they have rent to pay and a belly to fill.

Why don't you get a system administrator job if you have experience and want a good pay?

I agree with you, however you should consider that people on MCM are not willing to pay £25/h. Additionally, I'm not really sure how installing a mail server takes 3 hours. While I agree this shouldn't be free, consider changing your prices, as I'm afraid nobody will bite on MC-M and you're just wasting your time.

I work with many people from MCM who have a brain, actually. See my next response for the 3 hour part.

Well I can't see how it's gonna take you 3 hours to install a mail server
Installation, security, DNS, the ongoing support that comes of any job you do (even if that's just questions), and I often have to wait a lot on the clients. Sure, it may take me 1.5 hours, but chances are somewhere down the line that same server will take up another hour and a half somewhere else.[DOUBLEPOST=1533917687][/DOUBLEPOST]

Working on finding a new job, recently left a software dev job and had an interview yesterday for a sysadmin one.[DOUBLEPOST=1533917758][/DOUBLEPOST]

It's people like you that I get paid to fix past installations of, so there's that.

Excuse me sir? I never asked you to fix anything for me and I have never even dealt with you.
Please read and understand what I said. The point I was making is that generally lower-priced sysadmins are usually not very good and their customers end up coming to me to fix the work that was done.

All I was suggesting or intending to suggest is that, while in the real world these prices are valid, realistically nobody will pay those prices on mcm. So a suggestion (to make some money rather than none) would either be to search elsewhere or lower prices. As fair as that price may be, and believe me, I get you fully (I’m a sysadmin/developer as well), it isn’t worth it to go after only sales with that price on mcm because nobody will ever buy.

But they do. So you're completely wrong.

Who says I don't? MCM is about 3% of my income.

it isn’t worth it to go after only sales with that price on mcm because nobody will ever buy.
But as I said, you're just completely wrong.
