Often times derogatory words are used to label these groups. Hate speech today however is being misconstrued on a daily basis. Simply saying something mildly offensive or politically incorrect is now being classified as hate speech by a certain left-wing groups. Take Germany for example. Right-wing groups are trying to run in elections on the idea that Germany should be kept German and that the government shouldn’t prioritize immigrants over its own citizens. The media immediately labeled them as neo nazis and claimed they were preaching hate speech.

Yes, it is. Hate speech is attacking someone. But then everyone sees something different as hate speech and then there are always exceptions.
