Free SSL/HTTPS Cert.

Hey, I'm just wondering how I can add an SSL certificate to my website and it's subdomains. SSL certs. from GoDaddy go into the $100s but I'm aware you can get them for free. Apparently you can get an SSL cert. through using CloudFlare, do you need a paid plan? I'm also aware of sites like certbot, openssl but that's all above my knowledge. If anyone could give me advice on how to go about this that'd be great. Thanks.

SSL's with Cloudflare are free, add CF to your domain, go to Crypto (going off memory), but wherever the SSL stuff is. Next, turn it to Flexible. Add a page rule to always use HTTPS on your domain. Be sure to change your URL in configurations to https://

Let's encrypt is a free SSL Cert. It's super easy to setup and is very good. I highly recommend them.
