Friend got banned wrongfully?

He asked me to help him get unbanned.

He was banned for making 'multiple accounts'. But this is wrong, he was making a business account, which is aloud.

He tried contacting a staff when the account he had made for business was banned, and doing so got him banned, he said.

I think it was a misunderstanding, hoping a staff sees this, since he hasn't been able to explain things as he is banned. Feel free to move this if this is the wrong section.

Staff usually don't make mistakes when banning users. If your friend truly messaged a staff member about this he wouldn't be banned.
