Yes, this is a cheesy thread. I already know at least one person is going to comment saying something negative about me.

Anyways, I just wanted some advice how I can make good friends. I've been struggling with having loyal & entertaining friends. I feel like not a lot of people don't know me or feel like I am a scary person.

Any suggestions / comments are welcome. This isn't directed towards anyone, just needed some general advice about this. All PMs are welcome too.

If you meet someone, make sure they aren't "money hungry". If they ask how much "money" you have or any question around there, say $0. Be nice, when you meet someone, make sure you get them to notice you. You don't want to be a grumpy person. Make sure you can trust that person, and they can't trust you. Minecraft is a good way to make friends. From minecraft, i have made lots of friends. This one server i met someone 4 years ago, that is still my friend today.

One thing I have learned friends over the internet are not your true friends. Go out in the real world and find some.

Kinda agree. Although it depends on how people share your "persona" around.

"Internet friends" are just as valid as "real friends". I've had many internet friends who care more about my well being than any of the people I know in real life. It's easier to be empathetic online than it is in real life, so take that advice with a grain of salt.
But as for making friends, you just need to be more empathetic and be approachable. Become the kind of person you'd like to be friends with, and just talk to people. As nice as it'd be to have people just flock over to you, it probably won't happen.

I got scammed twice by people I thought were good friends online. Learnt from my mistakes and will never again do that.
