How much time I can play: 4-8 hours
Experience:I was a moderator for 1 year on MCGamer which used to have 5,000+ players everyday. I was also recommended to become an Admin, but then I resigned as to the server just not been fun for me anymore. I have also ran and owned my own servers, but they failed because no one joined.
I have lots of experience and know almost all of the commands. During the time I was a mod, I would usually catch 7 to 15 client users each day. When we would SS them and we find a client its a perm ban, but if they admit it's usually a temp ban. Since I resigned, I've been an admin on smaller servers with around 23-50 people a day, because it was so small It got very boring, that's why I'm applying on Velt I need a bigger server to moderate.
Why I should be chosen for staff: I should be staff because, I believe I could bring a positive attitude and a friendly work environment. I believe that my pure dedication and love for this server are some of the traits that make me best suited for this position. As someone who is so incredibly devoted to helping the community in any way, shape, or form possible, I believe that I will bring a dedicated and helpful individual aboard the staff team. I will be willing to help any player, whenever needed, therefor lessening the need for another member of the team to step in and help. I will always be available for consulting when a member of the team is unsure of a verdict, or unsure of the situation he/she is currently dealing with, stepping in to assist in settling conflicts when necessary. My past moderation and administration experiences will be helpful to the already great staff team, because I see myself as a veteran in the world of Minecraft servers and Minecraft in general. I will be able to help out any users who may be just getting into moderation, right off the bat, and even more so when I become a slightly more experienced moderator on this server, specifically.
To sum things up, I believe that I can bring all this to the staff team because of my willingness to put forward hard work and dedication to being an active member of the team and helping other staff members, as well as my previous moderation experience being a helpful trait when handling verdicts with other staff members, and helping newer members get warmed up into the world of moderation. I would also bring a good amount of technical experience both in programming and just general knowledge. I could help staff understand how a user is abusing something or how some user was able to get out of the map. I am very adaptive in all situations so I can be fun when we are just playing MCSG having a blast, but when I get a poke that says "there's a hacker on the xyz server, can you please check it out" I'm immediately serious and doing everything I can to help. Generally I'm always the one to be working on something while everyone is goofing off. My philosophy is "do your job, and do it well" it's the simplest thing in the world to me. If you're fortunate enough to get your dream job, you shouldn't be focusing on moving up in the ranks, your main goal should be to always do your job and do it well. So that is how I believe I will benefit the staff team.
