I’ve been planning a new code editing software aimed at front web developers, and I’m going to be using it because I think it would be very useful and efficient to use.
It would work like any code editor. You would start with a blank website, displayed in the main display as an empty white canvas. You would drag empty objects onto the screen which you would fill with code. So like say I wanted to create a button using this program. I would create a new element and drag it in the visual editor to where ever I wanted it. Then I would double click on it and it would open a new tab that would have three windows (like brackets split screen) one for html, one for CSS, and one for JS.
I think this product be nice to have as it would allow you to still mostly hand write your websites, it would auto format your code to make it beautiful and readable, and it would save you time positioning items. It would allow for easy positioning in terms of where it is on the screen, as well as how it’s layered. If I were to sell this once complete I would probably sell it like $10-$15 a pop. What do you guys think?
