I've finally realized that FrostyMC is just another scam.
They spam discords with bots to get players for release, then they run the server for a month or two, and then they close.
They open the server only with the intention to close it after releasing it to get all the release money.
Eco who is a part of FrostyMC has done this before. Previously, he did it with "WickedSkies". He had people use discord bots to advertise his discord, so he'd get a lot of players for release.
This is how I met Eco...
And then a while later he started WickedSkies and he got people to dm advertise with bots on other discords. I personally had to ban hundreds upon hundreds of their bots.
He clearly admits that he was getting bots to do it. It didn't even stop.
WickedSkies released, got donations, and closed like 2 months later.
Now he's doing the exact same thing again with FrostyMC.

You don't regard advertising bots as internet spam?
internet spam is so common. wanna know what 90 percent of people do when they get it. ignore it, same principle and if they like the server they can join.
We have different ideologies. I'm not saying they can't do it, it's their right to do so. I just think that such practices should be heavily frowned upon due to the nature of them being spam. Just my thoughts, we all have different opinions.
I do see what your saying it’s not the best way to get your name out their but it works i guess.
