Harvey was fun. My road and entire area was underwater, but somehow every single house survived unflooded. We really got lucky.

Yeah I live in SoFlo and it may be an issue but my residence is cement, hurricane proof windows up to like 150mph winds (there’s not that many windows anyway), 15+ft from the floor[DOUBLEPOST=1567130364][/DOUBLEPOST]

While I mightn’t’ve put it so crassly, yes, please leave politics out of it.

And no, we’re not assuming you’re talking about the president. When you say we’d avoid a lot by leaving, that’s a political statement. You could be talking about gas prices, or taxes, or something similar. It’s still a political statement. Also, we were talking about hurricanes. Don’t pretend like we were talking about he general pros and cons of the USA

That being said, even if we were to agree with you, it’s not particularly easy to pick up your whole life and jump to an unfamiliar place.
