Hello!
I am the new manager for the network.

We opened our network to the public 2 months ago, and built it from the ground up, with one vision in mind- to create a minigame network providing quality and fun gametypes for all audiences.

Through tough and thin, we've gone through 2 releases of factions, and 1 full skyblock map, with our map #2 release coming this Friday.

We have been up for 2 months, the 1st month barely making any profit due to lack of advertisement, and the 2nd month, making almost $2000 from our continued efforts.
We are in need of a developer who can:
-
Provide excellent development services as needed
- Communicate daily with members of the staff team, and the community

More Information
We currently have an amazing team of 2 owners, 2 developers working on different realms, 1 manager, and 2 administrators.

Our currently open servers are Factions, and SkyBlock(opening Friday). Prison is a gamemode that is in development, we have a lot of custom ideas for that which can be explained via PM.

Our server is heavily advertised and advertisement is constantly being pushed out. I've listed some media at the very top of the thread to somewhat prove that. We have deals with many youtubers and streamers for this week/weekend, and our playerbase is around 40-60, peaking 70 on weekends.

Payment will be discussed via contact!
PM me for more information.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

NOTE: We are looking for someone who is honestly interested in growing this network with us! Not someone who wants to get paid per project and leave.

More information nessiceraly, as in what is the hourly pay? What do you mean by communicating with the community, a developer is there to create plugins and nothing else really. Is there a contract that we need to sign etc. Are there any qualifications as in does the developer need more than 2 years of experience in Java, just come with more information about the most important things that really matters for the developer that wants to sign up for this project.

I'm not going to lie, the fact that this doesn't include any information whatsoever about pay is a real turn-off. Add in the fact that you threw out the classic "must actually care about the project" line sounds to me like a start of a sales pitch for either not getting paid nearly enough or being paid by donations, neither of which is fun (or worth it) for most devs, regardless of how much they might want to care about the network. Some more information about pay would be good.

Thanks for your honesty.

Instead of providing pay on the thread, we speak to people directly.

That's not an answer, it's a question-dodge. And that really smells of a problem to me. I'll PM you about it.

We pay different developers according to experience. If a developer contacts us who is very interested about the network but has only worked on 1 server averaging 30 players, they would obviously be paid less than a developer who has worked on 1000+ player networks.

Experience isn't nearly as important as what a dev does with it. The value of experience is in the ability to provide better code as a dev, interact better. Experience that isn't put to use isn't helpful.
