My name’s David, I’ve been working onsite for a bit over a year and have obtained and maintained a good reputation and am decently well known across MCM and some other communities for mainly my system administration service(s). For the last few months, my income and overall satisfaction with MC-Market, its community, and the type of work and people present within it, has been taking a nearly fixed decline. In short, I’m getting tired of working and being underpaid and undercut by people who haven’t the slightest clue what they’re doing or are downright maliciously hijacking servers, as well as getting tired of working with the exact same softwares/cases dozens of times over; I’d like to expand out and get more experience and increase my overall ability and simultaneously provide the same quality sysadmin work, just to a different demographic.
What’s the point of this thread? I’m looking to see if there are any more serious and/or established (unestablished ones are fine, just a decent budget and competency is required) projects or people with a decent budget and good ideas to either partner with or work for in a more fixed/stable environment with preferably a partnership or monthly pay. I am primarily looking at hosting companies, but networks and other such or different ideas entirely are also welcome.
