What is Gacha Crates?
Gacha Crates is a plugin that adds a new unique crate system reminiscent of a typical Gacha game.
With the Gacha system of crate rewards, rewards are finely calculated to be given out at a consistent rate. This is accomplished by using reward tiers in our crates so you get a second layer of control.
The high tier reward system typically has a low reward probability, but with a guaranteed drop after a set amount of pulls. This design incentivizes crate openings because players get to "chase" the reward as well as randomly receive it.
Features
Reward Tiers:
Each crate can contain an infinite amount of reward tiers, each containing their own list of items with their own probability list.
Not only can you control the rate at which reward tiers drop, but you can also control the rate each individual reward of a reward tier will drop. This allows you to be very precise when calculating your loot pools, and adds a more consistent loot spread.
Pity System:
As a player pulls on a crate, they will accumulate pity for all pity enabled reward tiers. Once at the pity limit for a reward tier, they're guaranteed to receive it. Pity limits can be changed individually, or can be disabled completely.
Unique Animations:
There are several different possible animations including physical, interface, and none.
Interface animation with 9x pulls.
Left: Physical animation with 5x pulls.
Right: Physical animation with 10x pulls. Notice how the cloud gets bigger the more pulls there are.
Any feedback regarding quality of code, wiki, plugin, information, or anything else would be greatly appreciated. If there are any issues please use the issue tracker on Github
