Hi everyone,
I’ve been running a small Minecraft server recently and some of my friends are trying to connect using Android devices (via Minecraft Pocket Edition / Bedrock). The weird part is:
I’m not sure if this is an Android client-side problem or if there’s something I should tweak in the server configs. Has anyone here dealt with this before?
I’ve been digging around for fixes, and while I found some guides that mention Bedrock–Java compatibility and a few APK builds, the explanations are often scattered. I even saved a doc where I collect all the possible workarounds in one place in case someone’s curious: https://modhello.io/
Would really appreciate any insights from people who’ve hosted Minecraft servers for Android players. What’s the most reliable way to fix this sync/timeout issue?
Thanks in advance!

- Sometimes they can join, but the world doesn’t fully sync (chunks not loading, missing textures).
- Other times the connection just times out even though the server is stable on PC.
