Game Designer - Is anyone actually looking for them?

I recently got hired on a server to improve & think out new ideas/concepts. I'd say I'm decently experienced when it comes to documenting all the ideas but there's always more to learn.

Anyways, I was wondering if Game Designers are even wanted on any servers? I was very surprised that I could work for one but now I'm wondering if that's like a "one time" thing or if multiple servers are actually looking for Game Designers? Would be cool if that'd become a new "niche"

It depends on the scope of the server - I've worked in game design/game monetization for several servers. Is there a massive market for it? Not really, but does it exist? Yes.
