Can anyone tell me what is the best version for a skyblock and faction server?

I would say skyblock is starting to become 1.16 +, and for factions, all of the best jars / spigots (to my knowledge) are 1.8.

I’d go with 1.8 since there are many custom jars that will help your server with factions.

Skyblock can probably be any version you want, but there are skyblock plugins that won’t fit older version anymore, that’s why you will have less trouble using newer versions.

I prefer to use 1.8 spigot. Because 1.8 spigots are better for me. And you can use ViaVersion and ViaRewind for more versions.
