Gamemode Sets To Spectator When Respawning

So, when I respawn on my SMP, my gamemode sets to spectator, and this is a huge problem as it's only me and 2 others that have OP and can change their gamemode. Anyone know how to fix this?

Nvm, got it fixed by writing a simple scripts that changes the player's gamemode. ;P
