In this thread, you will be given everything you need to know about how applications are handled at GamersUnited. Please, read through, and if you can, apply!
We do have requirements for interested applicants, as we run on a strict and tight schedule. If you do not meet these requirements, please apply when you do. They are not hard to meet, nor are they absurd, but they are in place for very specific reasons.
Q: I am under 13, but I'm mature! May I apply?
A: Due to COPPA laws, as well as personal bias, we will not accept anybody under the age of 13, no matter how mature or intellectual you pass yourself of as.
Q: I think I'd make a better moderator or administrator. Can I apply for those positions?
A: No, you may not. Accepted applicants start at the Helper rank. You must receive an invitation to join at any higher rank.
Q: I'm friends with a staff member, so shouldn't I get accepted?
A: Negative. All applications are reviewed and processed equally, and we do not hold certain people at a higher level simply because they're friends with a current staff member.
Q: If my application is denied, what happens? Or what if it is accepted?
A: If your application is denied, please wait a minimum of 30 days before reapplying. If it is accepted, please read below in this thread for more details!

Step 1. Your application will be reviewed and judged.
Step 2. If your application is accepted, you will be PM'd on the forums.
Step 3. A staff member will help you schedule a verbal interview taking place on our Discord server.
Step 4. Your interview will take place, during which we will evaluate you further.
Step 5. You will be informed of dismissal, or you will be welcomed to the staff team.
Get it? Got it? Good? We hope so. Now, onto the big part! This here, in front of you, is the application format. When you apply, you are required to use this format. Failure to do so will result in an instant denial.
