GameTron is soon ready for public beta. We're aiming to have the version (Self hosted) ready by December.

I don't that is what has happened with XenoPanel i believe the owner has been busy with work and just hasn't had the time to do much.
While GameTron is not going to point fingers
I've never on my own had the possibility (SafeSurf) to take a look at XenoPanel, however, I remember that it had big security issues which the developers didnt really bother to fix, where that NoLag dude posted a hotpatch for his own servers on here.

I've never on my own had the possibility (SafeSurf) to take a look at XenoPanel, however, I remember that it had big security issues which the developers didnt really bother to fix, where that NoLag dude posted a hotpatch for his own servers on here.
That isn't the issue anymore that has been fixed and was fixed a long time ago on the XP V2. People really need to stop dissing XeonPanel as it is a really good panel and i have used it many of times. Not to mention NoLag was a bit of a mess and was closed down for a good reason

Wasn't here to rant on either instance. Just stated the obvious :) - I know its not an issue anymore, however, it was for a pretty long time.

We currently run in a node environment and would be happy to support this so long as it is able to run remotely / away from our primary servers provided the correct credentials. Do you have documentation or a demo we may try?

Finally an update:
GameTron has reached its beta phase, and will soon be available for public testing.

New features include:
Automatic Master/Slave installation
Backups
Creation of Databases. Companies can add central database servers.
WHMCS module
Mod manager - Companies can add / remove mods with ease via the panel
Licensing system

This is an old question but in case anyone else is wondering the same: Yes, this will be possible. You can run the panel (master) on any server where a web server and PHP is installed. A MySQL/MariaDB database is also required and it can be hosted either on the same or a different server. The servers running actual game servers (slaves) can also be hosted remotely anywhere.

Regarding documentation, there is no public documentation yet but we'll release one before Gametron becomes available for testing.

It's been a while since our last update on the project but regardless we've made a lot of progress. As we're one step closer to a usable beta version and eventual launch, we'll be posting information more frequently from now on. To start with, we'll explain the new features we've been working on in more detail (the features SafeSurf covered in the above post and some extra). We're also preparing a roadmap for the upcoming months to share with you.

In case you have any questions about Gametron, feel free to ask any time!
