i bought a $400 gaming chair because the material it's made with is durable and comfortable. the cushion is very well-padded so i can sit on it for hours and hours and never feel like i'm sitting on a hard, flat surface. my old cheap chair had a thin cushion so i would sink down to the hard metal it was resting on after a while which hurt. this chair also has the ability to lean forward and back, adjust the armrests, and comes with two comfortable pillows. i am very happy with it and $400 was well worth it for me

it can be a matter of opinion i guess, but i think spending lots of money on something that you use every day and that will last a long time is better than buying something cheap and having to replace it often because it doesn't do the job right. http://www.needforseatusa.com/computer_gaming_chair_esl_pro this is the chair i have even though it's way over op's budget.
