it does boost FPS, but is it really worth the extra 1000$

also not many devs really 100% optimize SLI since not a lot of people use it

About the ray tracing one single card cannot really hit 60 fps at the max settings and that is why I'm looking for a 2080ti sli instead of a single 2080ti so I can really hit 60fps when recording.

Wouldn't buy it. Retracing is on little games. Little performance improvement between the 2080ti and 2080sli

Yea I found out it's a very little difference and ray tracing is the future and not the present.

I still am confused to go for 1080ti sli or a single 2080ti or two 2080ti's.

So what should I go for, this is just a list of things and isn't final, I do not have too much knowledge about pc setups and etc.
Only using laptops till now, Anyways I do not have any idea why SLI is dumb it gives you a good boost in fps right?
Anyways I think I forgot to mention this is for youtube and etc.
DUAL SLI is not supported for most games, and it is a waste of money

I just finished my current pc. It cost a little under 4 grand. The spec’s are:

CPU: i9-9900k
Mobo: Asus Strix z390-h
Ram: 32GB ddr4 2400 or 16GB ddr4 3200 (I switch it out depending on what I’m doing cause why not)
GPU: Gtx 1080
Storage: 250Gb Nvme 500gb ssd (getting more soon)
Monitor: Samsung gaming curved 27” 144hz monitor.

Most of the cost was one day shipping cause I’m impatient af.

My pc runs fine and the only thing I wish I did differently was get an Rtx 2080ti
Oh damn, im gonna ship the parts from USA to my country cause apparently 2080ti here is 2000$. I need some suggestions for some accessories tho like eyetrackers or gaming mouse or monitors which company etc etc for YouTube.

I will gladly help you find the perfect components for the lowest price. The thing most people don’t understand here is that it’s worth saving more money for later. I’m thinking a 3,500$ rig, ~900$ on best quality monitors (multiple), 399$ on a chair (Secret Lab Omega is the most confy one out there), then some utilities.

Get the k70 Corsair keyboard and maybe a Corsair mouse. I currently use the k70 rgb, Razer deathadder chroma, and Razer kraken Chroma. Don’t be like me and get Razer. I bought the headset and mouse 3-4 years ago almost. Get one 240hz monitor if you really want maybe two 144hz ones. I would get 3 curved ones if you can, they look really cool lined up together. The NZXT hue is pretty cool if youre rgb and stuff[DOUBLEPOST=1552619866][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh and also... make sure to invest into a good case keeping cable management in mind. My computer has wires all over because my build is such a tight fit even for a top notch case.
Multiple monitors require big space which unfortunately isn't available in my house.
For the case I'm looking for a Thermaltake tower and a dual water cooling system,
Cable management I've heard cable mod is a thing I still have no idea what it is, I'll be doing research soon.

6k wtf

You can get a nice pc, desk, and chair for like 2.5k
I don't really want a *Nice PC* more like looking to go ham so it lasts 10 years.

I'd get yourself 3 monitors. I'd spring for a nice keyboard, if you're looking to record, red switches seem to be the standard, but personally I prefer brown switches. Your budget is not small, so I wouldn't limit yourself. Keyboards are really up to you as well as mice, but corsair has some good diverse options. I have several keyboards and as far razer products go they're not the wave.

As for mice, if you prefer lightweight I would strongly suggest a finalmouse. They will be releasing their lightest mouse yet soon, and you can buy the others for significantly more as they do not restock, but they're a good option. Also logitech has diverse options.

If you haven't decided on a mic and headphones, thats something to look at. I personally use a Steel Series headset with a blue snowball, but that's a more budget setup. You can easily afford something much better, however again it is preference.

ALSO make sure you have a desk that fits all this :) and a comfy chair to sit in while you play.

As I said monitors I can go max two, 1 4k and 1 1080ti 240hz.
I thought razer was the best choice? I guess not I'm looking for the best of the best :)

I think I'll get a blue yeti or a Samson Meteor

About the chair might as well go with the pewdiepie chair if there's money left.

All these fucking nerds just get a 1k gaming pc oml It’ll run fine
If you don't have any suggestions please don't interfere.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fTyFD2 I mean this is like 3k for i9 9900k Rtx 2080ti 32 gb 3200mhz.

Thanks :)

Yikes is there really any point in spending so much on a setup where you can spend a lot less and would perform amazing still. Just got to flex, don't you people.

Listen, man, I've worked quite hard for two years saving loads of money for this, why do you need to get annoyed by ME buying a computer which is good.

Why do you even need a 2k computer if you mostly play mc my 500$ laptop runs it perfectly fine to my liking Do you want to :rekt: ppl in pvp or

I don't mostly play mc, I appreciate you commenting even though it wasn't helpful
