I know this has been created before, however it doesn't make sense to turn an eye to it.
Whenever purchasing someone Premium or Supreme, you will be awarded a Generous Medal.
Premium is a $10 rank upgrade that is giftable. Name Colors are a $5 rank upgrade that is giftable. On top of this, name colors for charity events should also give Generous Medals.
Basically, change the system to where when you gift up to $10 or more, from anything in the account-upgrades section, you should be entitled to the Generous Medal.
It doesn't make sense to deny a user a generous award medal for giving users name color account upgrades that equal up to $10 or more. It's basically saying that no matter how generous you are by giving users name colors, that you still will not be given a badge, nor be recognized for being generous.

In my honest opinion, if this is denied, then remove the generous medal entirely, or remove the ability to gift name colors.. Because what's the sense in limiting generosity to only a $10 Rank, and a $25 Rank. and denying a name color gift as "generosity badge worthy".

...and yes, I know it's entirely up to the user who purchases the account upgrades to either give Premium/Supreme/Name Colors, but that doesn't mean you should deny the fact that they're giving back to the community.

I’d like to point out that nobody should be gifting anyone anything just for the medal, it’s called a generous medal and if someone were actually generous, they wouldn’t need something in return.

Yes, but limiting it to ONLY Premium and Supreme is unintelligent. Because regardless if you're doing it for the medal or not, gifting name colors is still being generous, is it not?

How is it unintelligent? Premium and Supreme give you perks, color names are just for show. There's nothing to it than the name of your color. That's probably why you can gift Premium / Supreme and get the gifted medal.

Also, as Jayson pointed out, the whole point of being generous is to do something without expecting anything in return. It's not being generous if you're wanting something out of it, it's basically an ulterior motive for doing something.
The meaning of generous from https://www.dictionary.com/browse/generous
"liberal in giving or sharing; unselfish : a generous patron of the arts; a generous gift."

The meaning of gift from https://www.dictionary.com/browse/gift?s=t
"something given voluntarily without payment in return, as to show favor toward someone, honor an occasion, or make a gesture of assistance; present."

So, regardless weather or not a user is gifting Premium or Supreme to another user, it is a generous act. Therefor they should be rewarded for it in terms of the website, and the generous medal. It shouldn't matter if Premium and Supreme give perks or not. In my opinion, as I stated before. Either remove the Generous Medal, Rename the Medal from "Generous" to something else, or Remove the ability to gift name colors.

I do believe that gifting any user any account upgrade, regardless if it is a rank upgrade, or a name color, you should be rewarded.
One thing that would be a problem with making name colors giftable, is that people will be gifting name colors instead of rank upgrades and would be paying less. One way to counter that would to make the user (the one gifting) have to pay at least 10 dollars, but a counter to that would be that any gift makes the user generous, and therefore shouldn't be forced to paymore just to get a generous badge.
All in all, I think you should be rewarded for gifting name colors, but there are numerous issues that would have to be fixed with counting name colors towards the generous badge.

Here’s why I disagree with this there’s no point to making a second metal or reward. It’s just like someone buying premium getting a reward, it would just go to supreme users and it’d make It basically the same thing. I think the metal should be removed completely as it’s not exactly needed.

An easier solution than removing it is to just refine it so when you donate name colors, you can receive the medal.
However, I would never opt for another medal to be made for people who donate name colors. It should just all be in the same medal because that's why its called a "generous medal".

Jayson had pointed, out there’s no need for it. Removing it would be the best option because people who are generous don’t need a medal or any of that.

In the next update we will be automating the generous medal and making it so that you only need to gift a user one thing to receive it, regardless of price.

A $5 name colour, $10 premium or $25 supreme gift will all get you a generous badge.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
