The thing is... This "license" you are trying to sell.. you are more or less trying to "resell" another hosting company's license.
There's no "lifetime license" you can buy from WHMCS. These licenses are provided on other hosts network and get "validated."
As soon as the server within that network shuts down the license will soon be expired.

I know this since I have been a customer and also a reseller of whmcs licenses for years now...

It doesn't matter. This is a reseller license owned by a hosting provider or a really old one that you got with the HostGator joke.

EDIT: Or even worse, an nulled license.

Nothing to do with hostgator because u have to use it on their servers and not nulled license. You can check on license verification page

There are lifetime license for WHMCS and they do not sell them anymore and these licenses will never expire. People are selling them for a lot of money because there are not that many out there anymore.
