Get Neg Rep Staff

Hello, i ask Mc-Market to make do 2 things: Hire Negative Reputation Staff And make it a requirement to have proof to put neg rep.

1) I have 5 Negative reputation which 4/5 of them are false and not true, With no prof provided and should be removed, But every time i put in a report for them to be removed with proof I didn’t do it, they decline it.

2) Neg Rep Staff, these people would be able to contact users with bad rep, and talk to them about what happened, The thing is, Bad rep destroys you on mc market and online, Due to the fact of this:

If someone who has more rep then you and is more well known, people will agree with them over you. And that People will not trust you because someone put normally false rep.

If someone did not provide proof in their neg rep, make a support request.
If someone is breaking any rules while giving you rep, report it.

Simple as that. MC-Market does not need Staff for the Reputation System.

This would cause Mick to create a whole new rank category which is useless. The moderators already do a good job at handling these things. If it gets denied, then the Moderators find the neg rep to be a valid reason, or because you didn't suffice sufficient evidence/proof to help combat that reputation.

It'd also be a hassle for Mick/Justis to maintain a whole new team of people to moderate just a tiny portion of the forum.

Just open up a support ticket, or report it. Simple as this, it will get attended to.

I agree with all reasons stated above and honestly if you wanted a specific staff member to moderate negative reputation, the easiest thing to do is just get a moderator and make them strictly dedicated to moderating reputation which would be easier than a whole new user group.

That's a lot of work and will probably get nowhere. If a staff member indeed gets put in charge of reputation, they should just moderate it better instead of going out of their way to actually contact users with bad reputation.

The problem with reputation moderation at the moment is that there is a severe lack of moderation tools, so we are restricted as a staff team about how well we can do our job. At the moment a reputation system improvements update is being worked on and we hope to release that in a few weeks, so by the time that we do release it, you should see immediate improvement.

We have also promoted a whole bunch of new staff recently to ensure that we stay caught up with all moderation that needs to be done. Having a bunch of generalist moderators is better than specialist moderators, but after we release our improvements if this is still a problem I will reconsider.
