Simple suggestion, when you report a message or something I think it would be helpful to get a notification if it was accepted or denied. You would also be able to turn this option off in your settings just in case if you report a lot of things. I think it would be nice though because I don't report as often and it gets annoying to constantly check every few hours to see if a false reputation or a rude message was removed.

This is already an option. However, mods can choose not to do this. This is because in 70% of cases where someone is notified of their report being rejected, they'll make a problem out of it. I speak as former mod here, and im sure current mods have similar experiences. Sometimes it's simply not worth it to tell people their report was denied. There are SO MANY reports to go through. Sometimes over a hundred in one day. Having to argue about each and every one with some kid that's PM'ed you because they disagree is not gonna make that easier.

I do agree it should be standard practice to at least notify if the report has been handled, but since this can often take a full day or longer due to the sheer amount of them, it might still not help for people that report something several times in a day.

Oh yeah, I never thought about that. Maybe it would only notify the reporter if it was accepted?

Speaking from experience, some people get triggered when they see their report was rejected. I guess they just can't handle the fact that they were wrong.
I notice my reports sometimes get accepted, haven't seen any rejection notices though, but definitely haven't seen as many notifications as I have reports.

So it seems this is already being done, but it definitely depends on the moderator as to how much feedback you get, if any at all.

Well I mean, I've made several reports that were accepted and not once have I gotten a notification.[DOUBLEPOST=1498856613][/DOUBLEPOST]So what I'm trying to say is I think I would prefer seeing this method that is already in use a lot more often, or even 100% of the time if it's accepted.

This was implemented a few months ago, I'll move this to approved.

Thanks for the suggestion.
