Get rid of "Introductions" forum

Hello MC-Market,

I think many people can agree with me on this - the introduction forum is useless. The only thing it provides is a good way to get your messages up. I feel as if there is no point in having it's on category, but maybe a sub forum under "General Disscusion"

If we can get ourselves a better spam filter made, and then remove the limitation that requires members to have at least 3 normal text posts before they can use links, images, and other media, which I'm all for; then you're right, the introductions section would have little purpose.
However, at the moment, that is the place I and other staff members recommend new members with no ideas for where to get three normal text posts, go.

I would primarily want to get rid of it because of post farmers. I believe they should be able to introduce themselves, but maybe where the threads are locked and there is just a reaction or something saying, "Welcome"

Thats useless. I'd rather give a compliment on the person if they ask how to do something or they want to start some career.

That's a really exaggerating amount of messages. You would have to go thru 600 threads, which i doubt you would even do that.
Introductions are quite important for new members, if you think someone is post farming, report it.
I don't even think they had the intention to post farm.

Just make it so that section doesn't count toward post count, I've seen lots of forums that do it like that.
