Do deals. Don't try to farm it.

Deal in smaller things. 500$ worth of deals in 5 transactions is worth less than 500$ worth of deals in 50 transactions. Same amount of money, but you showed yourself to be trustworthy on many more occasions.

Really bad example to be honest. Someone who deals in large amounts and shows over time they are trustworthy with large amounts of cash is way more trustworthy that someone doing deals for $5 since $5 is a really small amount of money that a lot of people can spare

I’d do deals but not try to do them in a farming kind of nature. Prove yourself so that you’ll be trusted with both large and small amounts of money. People judge you not if you have high amounts of rep but if you can be trusted with high amounts of $. If you prove yourself to be trusted with high amounts people will let you deal in your preferred payment method and you can make others go first

No. Here's an example. User A and User B want to buy account C for the same amount of money.
User A: over 2 years, they got 5 rep, with a total of $500 in deals.
User B: over 2 years, they got 50 rep, with a total of $500 in deals.
The owner of account C is most likely going to sell to User B. That's how it works. I've never seen it go differently.

Not everyone on this site is going to judge users based on the number of rep, but more the context of the rep and consistency of the rep over a time span. Hell no I would not deal with someone if they dealt $500 over 2 years. That rep could be from 2017. It’s 2019. However if someone has 5 rep from over the past few months dealing over $500, I would take him way over the guy that has 50 rep over the 2 years, and even if it was over the past few months as well. Frequently dealing small amounts like $5 doesn’t prove much other than farming rep

What I’m saying is if someone proves they can consistently deal with high amounts of money, that’s way better than someone who’s consistently dealing with small amounts. Reputation =/= a number, more of an opinion

Read what I said. Both did it over 2 years. Both would have rep that's 2017-2019. And no one said that the one with more rep deals only $10 per rep. They might have some that are 2-3, some that are 10-20, and some that are hundreds

5 rep means that they did 5 deals or whatever spanning from 2017-2019. That’s huge time in between the reps so of course I wouldn’t trust the guy. The guy wouldn’t be having high amounts of money dealt with frequently enough to prove that they’re trustworthy

More rep and the same amount basically implies that they’d be having to deal with smaller amounts over a course of a few years. It doesn’t mean $10 every deal they’re doing but they’re not consistently dealing with larger amounts. What I am saying is that rep isn’t just a number and if you’re frequently dealing with small amounts you won’t be trusted to the same degree that a guy who’s dealing with large amounts frequently is

Obviously, yes. Frequently dealing with small amounts may mean 500$ in a year, while frequently dealing with large amounts could be several thousand in a year. Most people on MCM don't deal frequently.

That of course is true. What I am saying is just make sure that you don’t off as a rep farmer. Community opinion matters way more than the amount of rep given. A lot of people have 100 rep but aren’t Glove

Yeah, don't rep farm ofc. Just saying, you don't have to deal in $500 OGs every time to be considered reputable.
