Gift Code Sniping

Can someone please explain to me what this is? I know what a name sniper is but how does having a giftcode benefit you to getting a an og name?

The account will have no name history.

They used to be faster than regular snipes, but not anymore. That's why now if .co uses a regular account and chearful uses a giftcode (or vice versa) they will usually both get it.
