Ok so, read this
Come back and tell me your thoughts about the idea. It's for a project I'm working on and I think the idea is a nice addition indeed.

Please if you have the time and have something to say about it, please do.

I don't want anyone to mention Minecord or any other plugin out there because none of them does the job 100%. No offense. It's just a personal opinion.

Would this be a plugin or a client-side mod?

Whenever I was playing a FiveM Grand Theft Auto V server I joined a team speak. Everyone was in the same room, and when you got closer to one another their voice volume would increase or the farther you got it would decrease. Implementing this sort of idea co-siding with discord would be amazing in RPG servers. I really like this idea. Maybe you could implement a functionality that was also like that.

There's something similar to that in Minecraft UHC called "Whisper"

That's interesting. I'm not sure if that would work with Discord but I'm sure there's a way to achieve this. I will look into it.

Also, another note to my previous comment.
A plug-in that implements a measure like this would be the next game changing mode in Minecraft that doesn’t involve modding.

Just quick thinking of how I would prefer doing what you asked for.
- On first join the player will have to connect their minecraft uuid with their discord account.
- When the player connects to the server, he will be auto connected to the "in-game" (or whatever you wanna call it) voice channel in discord.
- I will check the player's location, and everyone around him in a 10 blocks radius.
- Once you join, everyone's volume will be at 0% but when a player is detected in your 10 blocks radius "radar" the plugin will count how far (in blocks) the player is away from you, and that amount will adjust his volume.

Let's say the player is 5 blocks away from you, his volume in discord will be at 50%

Might give the player the option to mute himself cuz not everyone will be in the mood to talk even tho they are near you.
I don't know if that's possible, but I will try.

That’s a premium plugin I’d buy.
