same. True, it lasted for 6 years (longer than most marriages these days), but it was not really a proper relationship in most ways, since neither of us had even entered puberty yet.

Haven't had a girlfriend since, partially because during the time I was actually hitting on girls something happened that made me extremely nervous and antisocial around pretty much everyone, including some of my then-time friends. And then the girl I had been trying to get close to moved to another country, and that discouraged further interests for a while.

Not to mention I decided to go nerd and follow a path where I would encounter few girls for the years after that. And I'm not the type to have a relationship for 3 weeks. I'm the type that looks to have one for life, and therefore my standards are somewhat high.
