My advice would be: be prepared to spend some money. Artwork, marketing, development etc. are all very expensive areas if you want a quality product.

My advice would be have a legitimate passion behind your new server idea. Many times projects fail due to a loss of interest, in which any money/useful time put into the process will be wasted. Take time to ensure that your idea is one you are IN LOVE WITH, and from there, proceed down the line of planning!
