This is not going to work, you can already ask models like chatgpt, but instead I can give you some advice that will work for the rest of your life.
Good ideas or idea thinkers are not real and are utter nonsense,

No successful startup has ever started with a good idea. For a good idea you need to identify a problem and work hard enough on solving it.
The idea of every successful startup in the world started with people dreaming about a problem.

On the other hand, with this knowledge, ideas don't matter, there are thousands of people with opinions on this site alone, there are millions or even billions of people in the world with opinions. Only some of them get a reaction to the problem they see, everyone who gets a reaction fails and only some of them don't give up and try again and again and reach the final result.

An investor is never going to pay for your ideas, unless you have a degree from MIT or Harvard, you will never get investment unless you have concrete data. Drop the ideas and find a problem that you can go after to solve.

An investor will pay for the problem you solve, the returns on that problem and your team (your talent).
The world does not make successful dreamers with ideas, it makes successful people who are courageous and smart enough to pursue that dream.

Talking trash on someone who is just asking for ideas is pretty rude. He's just asking for some inspiration and hell he's offering a little bit of cash for people's time... your comment is pretty abrasive and not something I think is called for here.

Now I'll also touch on your "advice" which is truly ignorant, good ideas take off all the time. I'm sure you're just vomiting all of the motivational bullshit that is on social media these days about "solve a problem, then start" and while that is a valid way to go for some, building a good idea into a great product is just as good and saying otherwise is ridiculous. Investors will also pay for well flushed ideas, but this isn't even the point of his thread. He's looking for app ideas to work on, that's actionable and a lot more than an idea. College degree be damned, MIT and Harvard grads will also fail and their ideas are worth nothing either unless action is taken - so please keep your unnecessary aggression to yourself and let people use the forum the way it's designed.

and for the love of God, making your text black is the dumbest thing that people do on this site. It already displays in a good contrast for light theme and dark theme both by default. Making your text black just makes it irritating to read on dark theme and changes nothing on light theme.

For Platonicus - I have always thought there was an issue with the way Yelp, Google, and TripAdvisor do reviews for businesses. It's flawed in a sense that as a patron I can only leave 1 review, 1 time for each business and if I return and the experience differs I have to find my review and choose to edit it. There definitely is room in the business reviews space for an app that can allow people to leave a review each time they visit a store, business, etc. Think about all of the times people go to a local restaurant they love, wouldn't it be just as helpful to someone looking at their reviews to see people who consistently return just as much as it would be to see a bunch of single good reviews? Not sure how review validation would work, maybe via receipt uploads or by rate limits to avoid bots and spam, up to the developer(s) to figure out! Best of luck.

Hello, first of all, I don't think there was any offense in my comment, if you don't think my ideas are correct, stop trying to manipulate people and explain why my advice is trash.
I also added in my comment that you can ask this to Chat-GPT.

I use a white theme on the forum and I like to make the posts black, what is your criticism about which color to use, what is its relevance to my recommendations? Please, if you are going to comment on a criticism, target that criticism, it is stupid to try to manipulate people.

No, stop with the straw man fallacy and stop trying to manipulate people, what I said is very clear. Ideas don't matter, they pay the technical team who can make it. I've researched dozens of investors and I've talked to investors one-on-one about this.

Your criticism is so absurd that no professional VC firm's investment thesis is about investing in nonsense.

"so please keep your unnecessary aggression to yourself and let people use the forum the way it's designed."

I only mentioned facts in my comment but you enter your comment as "trash advice", I will not waste any more time with you, I have read dozens of articles on this topic and talked to dozens of investors one-on-one, they will never invest in your ideas, forget it.

You're funny dude, chat-gpt has informational issues all the time and whats wrong with him asking people on here? Absolutely nothing... which is why I commented what I did, you just trashed his thread when all the guy is looking for is ideas, let people give him ideas or not - you seem to be so against people helping each other and it's pretty laughable.

Also, manipulation? Buddy I was just telling you how it is... stop taking the site so seriously and just let people do what they want to do here. Your posts are the reason people come to dislike using forums when all they get is aggression and negative comments on their posts. If you don't want to give an idea you should've just left the thread alone and let anyone who does want to give ideas, give ideas.

You're the one who brought up venture capital and investors and all of that bull, they guy is just asking for mobile app ideas... don't lecture on something that isn't even a topic of conversation. Nobody cares how many investors you've spoken with and if you're truly a research head you should understand that you can find supporting articles for either side of any disagreement because that is how opinions work... there is an entire industry focused around investing in ideas and concepts. You seem to want to take a mightier than thou attitude to me, OP, and seemingly the whole site so please just get off the high horse and let people enjoy what they do here. This isn't a boardroom of a fortune 500 company, the vast majority of users here are young and ambitious looking to start fun projects, money making projects, or to just learn and experiment. Your negative and dismissive comments give 0 value to the site and deter people from wanting to try... and again if you're so focused on the entrepreneurial and investment side to things you should know of all of the famous quotes that are about failure leading to success.

I'll leave this here because you really need to re-evaluate what you're on this forum to do. Negative comments and putting people down is a ridiculous way to interact here... it's a video game and online service forum that has roots in Minecraft... not that serious and there is no need for insulting people who are just asking questions and trying to interact with others.
