Give skype button

Hello,

Let's say I make a thread giving out free setups. A user wants to speak with me. Instead of going to PMs, making a new one, it would be more efficient to just press a button that sends the user an alert with your skype.

It's explained badly.

Right now on your post, there are buttons on the bottom. Report, etc. A new one that will say "Give Skype"

Not everyone wants to use skype for transactions.
I'm not sure how they'd feel about skype being the standard, because it really shouldn't be.

No no look, so if you don't want your skype public, it would basically show up as an alert to the user with your skype. It only shows up for people who you approved.

Later, if the people need your skype again, they can xlick a get skype button. Or maybe a button that says Request Skype.. haha idk

Nah, mcm shouldn't even support deals done off-site. It would make it harder to scam and forge evidence. Because then, we wouldn't get users making multiple skype accounts on the same IP, pretending to be an impersonator of themselves and scamming someone and then going on a VPN and lying to avoid a ban.

No idea how that has anything to do with my suggestion. People already put their skype names in their signatures, some PM other users. With your logic, why not ban giving out your skype name?

Personally, I think a live conversation system for MC-Market would be a better way to go for everyone here. It would make gathering evidence of correspondence easier and it would overall be a little more secure for both parties. Not to mention, it would keep you on the website, which we would like to do, right?

I don't see the need to implement a button, when users can just add it to their signature if they want. The second bit was an example of how people can easily use Skype to scam and why it shouldn't officially be supported.

Yeah, but what if you don't want everyone to know your skype? Only people you are going to have transactions with.
