When you create a giveaway the user giving the item away shouldnt be asking for anything in return. Things such as sub or follow to enter shouldnt be allowed

No, really. Some people just want to give something back they feel is necessary to this "community" (of horny profit-hungry schnitzel-smeared-on-the-face Juggernaut-wannabes). And others want to expand their own businesses/hobbies.

Giveaways are something you give for free. Asking for things such as a follow / sub is basically asking for subs for a price.

Yup. If you really think about it, participants are truly employing their skills in fluidly manipulating their computers to click the subscribe button. Whether you are aware of it or not, your brain is actually being exercised and the host of what we are going to classify as a contest (a contest of who can click the subscribe button with the most passion) has unwittingly just trained your fingers to be quicker in their art.

Boohoo, you have to do a menial task for a chance to win something. Giveaways are normally billed as contest, and they are totally VOLUNTARY. No one is forcing you do it. Don't like it, don't participate. Entitlement is a disease.
