This is thread for all us myopics here on MCM. Explain which you prefer, and why you prefer it. Feel free to include any relevant information, like how long you've been myopic and which diopter you're on etc.

EDIT: I somehow forgot to write in my own. Personally, I’ve historically stuck with glasses because contacts are a lot of work. On top of that, I’ve always preferred to take off my glasses for near-work, like reading and using my phone. It’s not easy to take off contacts. I’m considering them for the first time now because I’ve reached -2.0 diopter, and glasses are starting to have noticeable distortion on the edges.

I'm really weird about things getting put into my eyes, so it's glasses for me. Aesthetically, I won't look weird without them, so it wouldn't be an aesthetic issue if I went without 'em.

Currently I like metal frames that are just slightly thick. I also got prescription shades over the summer, which is super duper useful for bright days.

Both. I would wear glasses while studying or on the comp but I would wear contacts when going out or playing sports.

Glasses because contacts cost money and I'm bound to lose them. They also hide my face so people don't have to deal with my appearance

If you can get contacts into your eye to begin with, then go with contacts. Personally, I can't get contacts into my eyes no matter how much I try so I'm stuck with glasses. I close my eye right before the contact goes in or touches my eye.

If I ever go out, contacts. For school, work, socializing, it’s contacts.

Glasses are handy to have as a backup. If I run out of contacts, or take them out at night, I put on my glasses.

Sometimes I’ll just wear my glasses if they compliment my outfit for the day too.

LOL. Yeah I didn't even think about that. It's hard enough to imagine trying to get them in my eye.. Getting them out would be a nightmare.

Fashion choice, glasses if you like to wear them. Or contacts if you prefer to not have anything on your face.

Just my opinion, I wear neither.

Glasses. Never tried contacts and never will. I don't like the feeling of putting stuff in my eyes, not even eye drops.

Glasses never tried contacts and honestly can't be asked with the hassle of putting them in, in the morning or potentially losing them.
