Hey! My name is UnfamousThomas or Thomas. However you want to call me. Im currently developing GlitzMC... And we are looking for a community manager... Now this server might not turn out to be the greatest, or could be the best ever! We focus on creating unique and addictive gamemodes rather than many repeative gamemodes. We just started working on our first gamemode as we have finished core (plugin that has the essential stuff for the server). And once release comes, we want to be ready for it, and that's why we are looking for a community manager.

Requirements:
13+ Years Old

At least a year of Community/Staff management

Good communication skills

Can work well in a team

Self Driven, Motivated

Ability to think outside the box

Able to make the hard decisions if they are needed

Ability to take constructive critisism

Have and use discord

Able to make nice threads

On school days about 2-3 hours and in weekends 5+ hours. So I will try to dedicate at least 25 hours per week into the server.
About me
My name is Jurre, I'm from the Netherlands. As a hobby I play basketball and I like to just hang around with friends and have some fun. The games I like to play are CS:GO, PUBG, Minecraft and Fortnite. I'm also looking to do a study ICT after this year. (Don't know if this is the same in english).
Past experience
The first ever server I was staff on was Fraggedcraft which was a faction type server about 3 years ago. Here I became helper.
I learnd how to answer most questions, have a positive influence on the server and learned about the ban/mute managment.

Later that year I became mod on the server because I did so well but sadly this server has died down.
Then I wanted to create my own server and learnd about plugins. First I made a really basic server with almost no active players.
Then I learnd more about plugins.

I learnd how to edit config's, how to manage staff and how to promote the server and that did really well we had about 15-30 people a day this went on for a while till everyone got bored of it.
So I stopped the server and started applying for a RPG fantasy server

I got accepted for the RPG server and they where still in development so I learnd alot in this phase, from the building to recruiting and managing staff. I also learnd more about forums and how to manage a community surrounding the server. But then the Owner of the server got an offer in Minecloud as a high tier staff member (don't exactly know what rank). So the server was closed even before opening.

Now we are about one year later, I totally quit minecraft but decided to go and have a look at it. I played some games with friends and ofcourse went to a couple of forums to start applying for staff. Here I found a faction server that was still in development. I joined the server as a mod, I was very active and became Head-mod. Quickly after I became the manager of the server and had to manage all staff. I went to a couple of forums and so I began my role as a manager. There is almost nothing I don't know I have alot of experiance in all kinds of places and in all kinds of servers!
What is the most important aspect in a team?
The most important aspect of a team is communication. If you don't communicate your staff will not know what to do are less intrested and will not do what you want them to do. Also everyone has to work together and have to get along if they can't get along they can't work together it's as simple as that.

At launch, yes, although we will be looking at creating a second gamemode within a year of releasing.

I am fairly active, I work at my job 2-3 times a week, I am always able to hop on after that, I can provide on average 4-10 hours daily. This depends on what the day holds and what happens.
About me
So, as you know from above, I am 20 years old, I live in New Zealand. I have been playing Minecraft since 1.4.7, I have been around a bit, learned everything I know from on the job past experience. I am always willing to learn more and give everything I do the best I can.
Past experience
This is the question because I do not have proof, so I am not going to go and explain what servers I have worked on, I will tell you what positions I have been, where I feel I work best at and where I would like to learn more. I will also explain my past experiences rather than tell you what I can do.

Owner - I have owned my own server in the past, of course, because money was a problem at the time I could not keep it up, this was not the only issue but the main one. As the owner, I was responsible for everything throughout the server, I had to recruit staff, I created some departments to help organize things a lot more, I found that it worked, really well. If you want to know more about me in this position, ask me about it.

Co-Owner - I got promoted to this position, in my opinion, I think this position is one you should not be able to be promoted to. In this position, I worked alongside the owner of the server, I performed the tasks that were set out to do, I handed out tasks for other staff members to do, I helped with everything I could. I helped with most of the documentation things, staff guides, rules, plugin ideas and more.

Staff-Manager - This position I think I would like more experience but I also feel I do a good job. With this position, I was responsible for all staff doing their jobs, enforcing the rules and helping anyone who needed help. I had to be strict but I also needed to be nice, I needed to be the one they came to with any problems within or without the staff team. I ran a tight ship, yes I was strict but the reputation of the server was at stake. I performed this job (like every other job) at the best of my ability.

Administrator - This position is where I learned most of my upper management skills. Although I still have plenty to learn, this is the position where that stuff started for me. In this position, I worked under the staff manager/managers I helped with anything that needed to be done, from "grunt work" to things management had needed to be done. I worked along the moderators most of the time, teaching them new things, assisting with issues or being someone they could talk to.

Moderator - This position is where staffing started for me, this is where I learned about all the punishments, what it really takes to become a moderator. This job I dealt with almost all issues on the server from rule breakers to hackers. I would sometimes assist the administrators with small tasks and often helped builders when I had the time to. When I had nothing to do, I would just play with other players getting to know them.
Other
Here, I will just answer those other questions I believe I have not yet answered.

I can work well in a team, I believe there is no I in a team and working in a community like this, a team is exactly what you need. I also believe you need people that can also work well by themselves as working with a team won't always be the case. I am self-driven, motivated, responsible, reliable and simply the best I can be. I am able to make those hard decisions for the better of the community. If I feel I cannot make that decision, I will simply ask someone else (higher up) to make it for me. I am able to take constructive criticism, how can you become a better person if you don't take the advice from others.
