a more proffesional hub than GC? you mean, from blockworks, right? because that's about the only place where you can get a better hub. or maybe everbloom studios (formerly MA).

I'd like to ask all of those complaining about the price to consider how many man-hours go into their projects. I've had the pleasure of working with one of their members for a short while, so I have a general idea.

definitely isn't expensive, if you have it custom-made to your wishes with more skill and precision than most of us could wish for.

But eh, I guess it's not surprising people on here think these prices are too much. most of us can barely afford an arena by them. Their target is servers with a budget like Arkham and higher. Idk why they're even here, they're too good for this place.

I don't really see where you're coming from, honestly. Do you only regard these more "known" build teams as good? They might be the ones that get the most recognition, but that does not at all mean they're better than everyone else. Not saying they're bad or anything, but don't take it out of context that they're the best.

My point is that while there may be teams that can equal them in building skill, there are not a lot that can match the design process and effciency. That post was aimed at a person claiming they could get a more professional build for much less. There are only a few teams out there that can match the sheer quality levels this team can produce, and none of them are cheap. Once you reach this level of building skill, you can't help but become at least reasonably well-known, unless you put disproportionate effort into remaining unknown.
Basically I was calling his bluff on him knowinga team that will make stuff like that hub I posted for significantly less, but with the same level of precision, efficiency and quality.

Vouch, I've known a few members and their quality is top-notch. There is almost no teams on here that match their quality. Vaeron, Athion, Blockworks, and perhaps Qubion are about the only other teams you will find with this kind of quality.

The reason why it's so much is because they are one of the best build teams out there. For what you get the price is worth it.

we're talking about a giant hub that's extremely complex. Assuming at least 100 manhours go into making a hub like that, they're only asking $20 an hour, which is reasonable for a team of their quality.

I thought we were talking about the 2000 for a hub and you'd simply forgotten a 0. but in a $200 build from them are not 100 hours. Heck, I wouldn't put 100 hours in a $200 build.

They're a registered business. you can figure it out from there. their revenue is likely WELL over the tax tresholds. If they ever got busted after not paying tax, they'd be in some SERIOUS trouble. So yeah, they do pay tax.

Ah, I think you should add on the additional price with tax. Some people may not recongonize the tax %.
