I know there have been a few suggestions to stop GoFundMe posts and related. I honestly think we should not ban all of them, for example a GoFundMe for Minecraft related things since this site is for Minecraft and related things. Yesterday I saw this post http://www.mc-market.org/threads/118709/#post-1300845 and I was basically just laughing, this stuff has nothing to do with this website and if anything it should at least be on the begging part of the site.

I just think that we should allow it only if it is relevant. Even though I don't support asking for money it would be a lot better if they have relevance.

Completely agree, if people need help funding a website, a server or something like that asking for a little help isn't so bad but asking for money to go on vacation is a complete other story.

Yah I agree, I do not like asking for money usually but I will try my hardest to make the money, I worry that if I get a loan and if I dont get money back soon I get flagged as a scammer[DOUBLEPOST=1469046016][/DOUBLEPOST]

I do not support this at all. If people want to donate to help out someone eles they can. If you dont like the post who cares move on. I personally dont mind it at all and have donated a few dollars to some random people. Why? Because I can.

I know but some people scam this way, I dont know if you remember but about a month ago some guy basically lied about a operation for his dog, he got people that funded him. It was later a scam. I am not saying I do not support all GoFundMe posts I just don't support irrelevant ones mainly due to the high amount of scammers.

The way I look at it is if its a scam its your fault. Either way you choosed to donate. Theres no way to tell what post are scams and what posts are not scams.

It's the investment and loans section if someone made a gofund me for an investment it's an investment. It's just easier to handle your money and keep track of who donated what etc
