`I've been looking at a tesla model 3 and a Chevy Malibu`

first car = trash car
second car = slightly better car
third car = aight, now you have experiance - go get a luxurious car.

just buy some sort of cheap 1000-4000£ car with savings, and practice driving!
(this is uk pricing, not sure us sorry)

please take my answer with a grain of salt.

I spent £8k on my first car, It's my biggest regret now as I could have used that money to invest into other things, my car has depreciated so much. So go cheap.

Valid points, I'm just looking for something that's new so its reliable and isn't already worn down possibly having major issues soon after I get it, where i can just pay the lease until its up then get a way nicer car after that

Buy off a dealership not a private seller then.

I'm selling my Cat 785C. It's a great first vehicle, I used it to and from school with no issues. 120k miles, basically new. Only issue is sometimes people get pissed when you take up 4 parking spaces, but other than that, no complaints.

Looking to get 450k or best offer. Cashapp or venmo only.

exactly

my first car was a chevrolet matiz, a perfect first time car because it's a perfect multi-use car + it's skinny enough to get into parking spots.

My first car cost $2500. Best decision ever the thing has ran fine for 6 years now and I used the money I saved on a computer which has benefited me way more than a nicer car. Get something cheap as long as you do your research to insure you don't end up spending a fuck ton on repairs.

There's this odd trend in the car community. As you first get into cars, you're trying to get away from the boring general cars like the Honda Civic. The weird thing is, the deeper into the car community you go, you end up going full circle and coming back to Honda/Toyota.
Moral of the story, buy a Honda Civic.

Well, I'm not even legal age to drive, but for you're first car you should always get an junk car. Then, a slightly better car (or skip depending on you're experience and how long you've been driving.)

Any honda, any generation.

Highest resale value, least headache motors in existance.

If not anything with a 3800 series pontiac. 04 Grand prix typically is decent
