So I am planning on opening a faction server sometime soon but am unsure of what host to use. I would really appreciate it if you guys can give me some recommendations of good hosts that aren't too expensive.

In my opinion, don't go with these "hosts" out there. I'd rather prefer to purchase a cheap VPS, or dedicated server to host it, and continually upgrade it as you go. You'll be more safe, as you manage it yourself (Obviously if you know how to manage a dedicated server, and prevent from threats such as SQL injections, etc).

Indeed , AnvilNode is definitely the best choice if you have a low budget and small player base. Not only their dedi is good but their live chat is marvellous ,, you can expect a response within 5 minutes .

I would but I dont know how to manage and deal with those attacks. Maybe one day as I learn and progress.
