Good Ideas For An MMORPG Server

Requirements and other information Hey- I've been working on a concept for a server of mine that's a combination between an MMORPG (ex: Wynncraft) and a standard Minecraft survival server. Here's what I need from y'all tho:

I've been stuck on finding some good ideas for features, so I'm looking for some suggestions. What are some features you would want to see on a server like that? Can be anything from a QOL fix to a massive feature that changes the way you progress through the game. Trying to avoid overused/paywalled features, so none of those will be considered.

A few friends and I will sort through the replies and pick our favorite ones, and a winner will be decided based on that. Good luck!

Since its an MMORPG, I assume there's some sort of class system or w/e already conceptualised, maybe you could do evolutions for those, or have evolutions be the name for the classes?

I feel like users would feel engaged and want to play more if they get a flashy popup and user feedback saying they've evolved, even if its something like "lesser <name>" or "greater <name>" perhaps you could incorporate those into skill progression/mastery.

I reckon that'd help with retention a lil.

i would suggest something from game i know which is trove plots So there are claimable plots over all the map after you claim plot you can build on where you can add decorations to your buildings or even craft your items there insted of going to the spawn And it will save your building of course and once you get too far from the plot it will become claimable again

This might be too much from a writer’s perspective but maybe a storyline? Not only does this allow a twist for your server to grow, but in the midst of making it, learn how these additions and ideas can be explained in terms of a storyline.

I second Dylan’s idea as well considering most individuals love displays and contributions. They want to work for something and have a valuable reward for the end of maxing out their skills.
