good or bad idea?? help!

3 months ago, a guy contacted me via Twitter asking to purchase my Minecraft username (Dyl). I ended up selling it too him. I did not give him OG email access or give him the transaction ID.

Note; I had no idea that MCM existed when I sold the account. Today, I logged onto MCM and I searched his username on the forum "Shots" just out of pure boredom and what do I see? A scam report against him.

He was selling the account I sold him (Dyl), then he changed the name back after the dude had already paid.

So a few moments ago, I pulled the account back using the OG information as I'm the original owner and do not want him to just be using MY original account to scam others. What a waste of a nice username and Minecraft account!! (My names Dylan so Dyl is my nickname)

Do you consider that morally wrong? Or do you think I did the right thing as there's a possibility he will scam again using it? Am I the bad guy now?

I'm just awaiting for him to chargeback now via PayPal, which I don't really care about lol

I think what I did was right. He can suck my dick.

tldr; i sold acc to person, person used acc to scam, so i pulled back using og info to prevent scams, good or bad idea?

I have contacted the guy he scammed and I'm thinking of, MAYBE, giving him the account since he did pay for it, but was unfortunately scammed, and I don't really mind since I don't use it.

Tbh, I think what you did was the right thing. Since it could have (maybe was) used to scam, you took it back. You should probably talk to the person who bought it from him and clear everything up. Honestly, I would have done the same thing in your scenario.

Nope, you did the right thing! Shots has been doing this for a while. He's friends with Scram and Bootwar, both scammers and he's friends with Lil pump, who is friends with Scram and has tried to sell accounts that Scram pulled or scammed people with.

I'm glad you pulled it from Shots, because now he can't try to use it to scam others. Shots deserves to have accounts pulled that he pulled from others or used to scam others.

No idea who his friends are.

People who scam. Shots is not bright at all and he's banned due to his own stupidity lol. He probably could have gotten away with the scam report Ninja made on him had he not sent me a video that would soon get him banned. I am really glad he's finally off this site though!
