Good Place to Start for Developing?

I am interested in learning to code Plugins for servers and basic web development. I am starting a project for a server and I want to code it myself. Is there any good/fast/free ways to learn this stuff? I also want to learn how to make scripts.

I found for me the fastest way was looking at open source plugins that are kinda small or getting code from tutorials then playing with it to see what everything did then reconstructing it or making something different off what I found. That's just for me tho, not sure how well it might work for you

well i sort of get it.
i need to learn stuff like what the hell are listeners and event handlers

dont learn to make skript, it will be literally impossible to code java once you start coding skript

and skript is trash

Envato is a good place to learn code and so is Kahn Academy, they helped me learn.

I agree with that. When I made a small post of skript on spigot ppl were pissed of me xd
