I highly recommend GoliathHosting. I've been using them for a long time, the staff are amazing and the support is great. No lag ever.

Prices are also great.

I recommend this hosting over everything.

Check them out https://goliathhosting.com/

TheMCHost, is not a good hosting service. The owner of TheMCHost is unrelyable. He fucked me over, and Scammed a loads off me. He ended up paying me 100$ To Keep quiet. But I don't suggest purchasing from them.
NetherByte, is Cheap. But there servers are Almost always getting ddossed. And most likely bugged out.
BeastNode, is defiantly too expensive for there servers.
MCProhosting.. Is shit honestly..
I suggest using EnderHosts.com, Or The PunchCraft Hosting.
You have no idea what you are talking about and I doubt they paid you $100 to keep quiet.

undoubtly would suggest ExileServers!

They've been hosting our server for a few months now and haven't had a single issue! Their support is quick and friendly, couldn't possibly think of a negative thing to say! Our package is $33.99USD a month for 8GB with unlimited server size!

And if you don't know what server that was, it was the server advertised within the EULA showing the 10k $ donation rank.
It's people like you who let down the Minecraft community. The whole EULA issue could've been avoided if server owners didn't try to exploit their players for too much money.

All of these people don't know what they're talking about. If your hoping to host atleast a medium server you're better starting off big rather than 'working yourself up' as thats just shit and if it lags people will just complain. Buy a soyoustart dedi or OVH if you want to go even higher. Never buy these hosting companies, they're all just OVH resellers.

Where do I even begin? Calling everyone who's ever hosted Minecraft an "OVH reseller" is hardly fair. There are multiple companies - in fact, a majority of respected & well-known providers - who either own their own hardware, own a portion of it and rent the rest from trusted dedicated server providers, or rent from premium dedicated server providers in general. For example, McProHosting rents from SoftLayer, PhoenixNAP, and SingleHop. Using us as a direct example, we own and colocate all of our hardware - including the switches in our 30-odd racks in Chicago.

At the end of the day, what you just did was an extremely hasty generalization that is totally unfair to the dozens of providers who don't rent from OVH or other budget providers. Also, keep in mind that OVH is certainly not the only budget dedicated server provider out there - They exist all over the world. They all do that same kind of business to save themselves money and keep prices down. They might cut corners in their network, hardware, or staffing. That doesn't make them bad, they have just as much place in this world as SoftLayer and PhoenixNAP. You don't NEED an amazing network if you're only hosting Minecraft - It's a very latency-insensitive game; you don't NEED a Dual E5v3 node with DDR4 RAM and RAID-10 SSDs to run Minecraft - An intelligent provider can make a Dual L5520 node run servers as well as another host with an E3-1270v2 or E5-1650v3. (That said, we at R2F prefer to run the more modern hardware, simply because of the reduced power usage and greater density we can achieve without effecting speed or reliability).

Also, your advice makes no sense. "buy the larger plan" - That's just a waste of valuable donation (or personal) money. Why should a person buy a 32GB RAM dedicated server when they only need a 16GB RAM one? Why should they buy the monster server that costs $500 per month when all they need is a shared one that costs $40 per month?

Sincerely,

Your friends at Ready2Frag
