Good ways of advertising?

A lot of people use voting sites but in my opinion voting sites attract little to no players. Hiring YouTubers to record a video on your server is a better idea in my opinion, streaming too. I hope this helps...

YouTubers and streamers all the way to be honest. Listing sites bring a few players in now and then, but they never really end up staying.
Players are far more likely to join and STAY on the server if they know YouTubers they watch will be playing there too.

Also something that I forgot to add is that people usually are more active and seem to stay longer and buy perks etc when invited by a friend, have no idea why but it's usually like that. You can setup some type of referral type system so that players get rewarded for inviting friends but yeah just a suggestion.

If you visit the Advertising section on this forum, there is YouTubers who are looking to record on there. There is also Discord communities you can join where you can create commissions for YouTubers you'd like to have record.
