We used to have such nice alerts pop up at the bottom of the screen. But now, they come up like the default alerts:

You know you're relatable when you get 3 dislikes on a message.

But yea, I liked the nice alerts as well. The new ones just seem too dull.

I've noticed that ! The old alerts were so much better.

Fucking mick -_- I don't feel like it's a bug I feel like he took it down and is going to come up with an excuse. Watch.
We were going through all of the addons and removing any possible unnecessary ones. It's not an excuse and I also don't feel that I need to justify my every action to you either.

You should because your lack of communication to the community keeps everyone frustrated on what's going on. You never update us on anything. So of course I'm going to be hot on your tail every time something happens.
He owns the forum, he can do what he likes. I'm not saying keeping the community informed is not important, but if he doesn't want to, or doesn't have the time to tell us everytime he changes something, we should understand.

Well if he actually wants to have a successful market (not that it already isn't, but if he wants to maintain it) he needs to update and inform the community more. Maybe a Manager could do the job?
See, now we are being constructive. I could see the benefit in a manager of sorts, I assume it would be an existing staff member, someone Mick trusts, and someone that knows how the forum runs. Make a suggestion, I'll support it.

Being transparent is, without a doubt, one of the most important aspects of being a website administrator.

Aedan buildblox Christopher Oh, so this is where that suggestion thread came from...
I just finished reading it; not giving a response there though. Super curious to hear what people think of me. :p
I'm flattered, but if the suggestion is only over a few small addons that got removed without announcement, I think a better suggestion would be to request that Mick himself simply be more communicative about things going on behind the scenes.
He's the first gate of communication after all; and the less gates, the better the flow of communication to the community.

It's been a recurrent issue. I've made it clear to many administrators on various sites that transparency is in fact more important to users as a whole.

Yep, he certainly is! Would you rather I just didn't explain any of my actions, or...?

I was in the process of removing a whole bunch of addons that we didn't need because we didn't need them and when I did it I removed the addon we had that did these changes. I have added it back since then.

Thanks for the report.
