I got 500$ to spend on a server. how should I split up the money?
Don't include advertising cause Imma have to get a bit more for that.

Art, Builds, Custom plugins, etc.
Thanks in advance

I like that, isn't that a bit too little for art though?
Nah, art doesn't matter from my knowledge, art is really useless. I had a lot of servers in past like 6-7 and just one of them had custom have drawn art but all had the same player base which was 20-30 people. I don't think art matters a lot, vexed doesn't have a good art but has 300 people playing all the time

Art doesn’t necessarily matter if you have a good marketing plan; additionally, I would waste all your money on Minecraft as there’s a possibility that Hytale may be huge, so I would save and wait for the future. However; if your set with Minecraft I would spend a decent amount on marketing as well. Being honest, $500 won’t get you much with the creation of a Minecraft server, but there’s always a possibility. Best of luck!

the 500$ is simply for creating the server. putting additional funds to the side for marketing.
I do get that minecraft isn't as popular as it once was. That's the reason why I made sure I'm not doing it for profit but simply cause I love the game.
