Save it dude. You should never feel the need to spend on money on things you don't need

Ok ok ok, I got an idea, but you're going to need to listen to me closely here.

Have you heard of online courses, right? Yeah, they're pretty cool depending on who makes them and if they're a trusted source. Ok ok, now the next part is finding something you want to do potentially for the rest of life. I mean something you truly enjoy doing, not some hobby. Ok, not sure? That's fine. You have time to pick and chose. But here's the catch - rarely in life do you just have liquid with no outgoing funds. Why? Because adulthood sucks but that's another topic. So make the best of it. Invest in yourself. Don't invest in some video game that probably won't be relevant in ten years, sure, you might get people giving you cool reactions in game but is that really worth it? No.

Be smart with your money now so in the future you have room to not be smart.

instead of paying 10 per month, how about you go to a website called youtube.com

Do you not understand the premise of the thread? OP has free liquid and doesn't know what to spend it on. Youtube is good but isn't the best place for online courses, this is just factual. Not to mention that this disregards the fact at hand, which he wants suggestions to spend his money on. The greater message of my post was to invest in yourself, online courses were just an example of a way to do that.

You keep talking about adulthood sucks, when you're telling the OP to spend his money. If you think adulthood sucks then I don't think you know how to be one in the first place. You have to save your money any chance you get. If I told myself that 4 years ago I would have 10k in my paypal right now.

Adulthood sucks for many reasons besides having to spend loads of money. That bit was comic relief as indicated by the "that's another topic". I would consider spending money on bettering yourself to be saving your money, as ultimately you are spending money to make more money in the future.

Example: I spend money on the necessities. I come out of it with a basic, normal life (food, water etc.) and ultimately remain at neither a net-positive nor a negative in terms of my result of money / money spent ratio.

I spend money on not necessary, but helpful things to better myself: You start with a negative result-of-money/money-spent ratio, but this ratio increases over time until it is a positive.

This is just simple game theory that can be applied to life.
